I went out to dinner with my grandparents today. After dinner, I pulled the car around because neither of them can walk that well anymore.They both get in the car and there are 2 people crossing in front of the car. I'm used to my grandmother being a bit of a back seat driver. So I wasn't suprised when she started telling me to watch out for the couple that was right in front of the car. What shocked me was exactly what she said: "Watch out for those 2 fat people." It was just so rude and inconsiderate. First of all, yes, they were a bit over weight but not any more over weight than more than half of America and secondly, my grandmother is over weight and has been over weight her entire life. I would expect more compassion from some one like that. This isn't the first time she has said completely rude things about over weight people. Its very hurtful considering every women in my family has a weight problem. Doesn't she realize she is insulting her own family when she says shit like that!

Disney World really has to do some updating. When I went there in 88 or 89 it was so exciting. Everything seemed so futuristic. But now the things that were so advanced aren't anymore. The things that seemed so far in the future, are now. Maybe its just because I have seen it all before. But I don't think so. I mean one of the big things is how people will communicate in real time with each other on the computer. Well, people have been doing that for years now. Its nothing new. The last time I was there, in I think 2001, I thought the same thing, that things were a big out dated. I heard some where that they were going to be updating it over the next few years. So now, I was just there and I was all excited to see how they updated it. Its been 5 years. I thought a lot would be different. I honestly don't think anything at all has changed. The one thing I can think of that changed is the Imagination ride with Figment. It used to have this weird guy with a top hat singing a song through the whole ride. Well he is gone now and I think the song is different but thats it. I guess I should realize though that I didn't see everything because I was there with a 2 and 5 year old so there could have been more changes that I just didn't see.....I hope thats true. Well, it couldn't have been that bad cause I am going again next month! I mean, come on! IT"S DISNEY WORLD!!!

I love it when Olivia doesn't take a nap. Its only 9:30 and she has been asleep for 45 minutes already. When she takes naps, she sometimes wont get to sleep til 10-11. Ridiculous I tell you! Some times I think she just doesn't need a nap anymore but then she just can't make it through the day. Oh well, boring mommy talk.

So last night, I was banging away with a hammer at my work table, putting holes in the book block for the journal I was making. Bang, bang, bang...It was making everything else on my table jump and vibrate. But did I think anything of it? No, I mean why would I actually use my brain? Anyways, on top of my bead storage, which is on my table, I keep a storage container with lots of little compartments full of tiny little seed beads. Yeah, I think by this point you might be able to guess what happened.Just one more bang is all it took for the container FULL of seed beads to come crashing to the floor! Of coarse most of the compartments had to open and spew beads all over the kitchen floor. I tried vacuuming it all up but you know its the sort of thing where I will be finding seed beads on the floor for the next few years... That SUCKED!
